BIO – MR. TONY L. OXFORD
Mr. Oxford has 27 years in the intelligence community and is a 1996 graduate of the National Intelligence Academy. He attended Macon College/University of Georgia where he studied criminology. Tony has over 3900 hrs of Law Enforcement and Business continuing education. Tony is a former Law Enforcement official with the City of Macon and the Mid-South Narcotics Task Force where he served from 1986 to 1996. During his tender with the departments he was assigned to the Patrol Division, the S.C.A.T. Team the GBI-Regional Drug Enforcement Office and before leaving the department he was the Executive Assistant to the Chief. Tony was instrumental in establishing the Specialized Criminal Apprehension Team. This method of specialty-trained officers to perform operations in high crime areas is a model for Law Enforcement throughout the world. Tony currently volunteers as a reserve law enforcement officer. Tony has a vast knowledge of Urban Operations and MOUT training environments.
Tony served as a disaster consultant and rescuer and at the World Trade Center, arriving at the request of the NYPD Emergency Services Unit on September 12th and departing on November, 9th. Mr. Oxford was personally lauded by the Vice Chief of the US Army, Four Star General Keane for his response on 9/11 and his dedication to the United States of America.
Tony has trained and been a featured speaker to Law Enforcement, US and Foreign Allied Military Forces throughout the world. His latest international address was at the Euro/NATO Training Center in Munich, Germany.
Tony founded National Security Associates, Inc. a Military and Law Enforcement Training company in December of 1996. After growing the business it was aquired in 2010.
Tony served as a Sr. Director of Marketing and Business Development for General Dynamics in Fairfax, VA from 2010 – 2013. Tony worked from the Orlando Office and focused on the US Army and international business while studying how the company could shift its government technology to commercial business.
Tony is a highly motivated leader and sales executive with Twenty Seven years law enforcement and corporate experience. Proven ability to motivate and work effectively with teams to produce results. Especially skilled at building effective, productive working relationships with customers via a relationship - consultative approach.
